Throughout the year, we celebrated five cohorts of the program, in which young people from different parts of the country participated in a training process. Each member had a transformative experience, receiving tools that allow them to understand and defend fundamental principles such as freedom, citizen participation, and the rule of law.
What makes the Members Program unique?
To be part of the Members Program, each young person goes through a Training Program, which consists of five sessions covering essential topics:
- History of the MCN: A journey through the origins of the movement and its mission to strengthen the Republic.
- Principles of republicanism: We explore fundamental concepts such as the separation of powers, respect for the law, and the defense of individual rights.
- Economy and freedom: A focus on the importance of economic freedom for development.
- Political system of Guatemala: Understanding the functioning and challenges of our Republic.
Citizen participation: We motivate young people to actively engage in building a better country.
More than a program, it's a civic community
Young people who go through the Members Program are not only trained as responsible citizens, but also become part of a community that shares the vision of building a freer and more just Guatemala. This space fosters leadership, dialogue, and action, key elements for building a true Republic.
This year's success motivates us to continue growing. At the MCN, we believe that change begins with education and participation, and our goal is to continue inspiring more Guatemalans to join the movement.
