Shaping Leaders: A Year of Learning at the Leadership School

At the National Civic Movement (MCN), we believe that leadership is built on knowledge, practice, and commitment. That is why this year we held eight editions of our Leadership School, an exclusive space for MCN members, designed to strengthen their skills and foster their impact in their communities.

Each school addressed key topics that not only enriched the personal and professional development of the participants but also provided them with practical tools to lead in their environments. Here are some of the most significant experiences.

Public Speaking about the Republic

We opened the year with a workshop on public speaking and effective communication, taught by José Eduardo Valdizán, a radio host and news anchor. During the theoretical session, participants learned how to captivate an audience and improve their communication skills.

The practice was taken to the next level with a visit to La Mega, a renowned radio station, where participants put their learning into action. They spoke for two hours about republican values and civic roles, demonstrating how theory translates into concrete action.

Digital Action: Taking Leadership to Social Media

In another module, we focused on digital communication strategies. Participants learned to create content for social media with clear and effective messages that promote republican values.

The final challenge tested their skills: they recorded a video for the MCN account, inspiring other young people to join the Member Program. This experience not only strengthened their technical skills but also underscored the importance of digital action in spreading ideas and values.

Building a Personal Brand

One of the most inspiring editions was led by Isabella Corrales, founder of Indiga, who addressed the importance of personal branding and how to establish it with authenticity. This module was key for members to learn how to differentiate themselves in the digital environment and, at the same time, use their social media as a platform to share republican principles with their communities.

Participants discovered how their leadership is reflected not only in concrete actions but also in the way they communicate their ideas and values. Knowing how to create relevant and coherent content with a strong personal brand will allow them to continue positively impacting others.

Artificial Intelligence as a Leadership Tool

In a world where technologies are constantly evolving, the workshop taught by Diego Ralón, an artificial intelligence expert, was one of the most innovative activities of the Leadership School.

Participants learned how artificial intelligence platforms can be powerful allies to make their daily lives more efficient. Diego showed them how to make the most of these tools and explore the different options available, highlighting their potential to solve problems, improve processes, and multiply the impact of their leadership.

Strengthening Knowledge in Economics and Entrepreneurship

In alliance with FEE in Spanish, we organized a workshop on economics, finance, and entrepreneurship, designed to provide members with practical tools to boost their growth.

This module consisted of three sessions focusing on key topics such as economics, finance, and entrepreneurship, offering members a unique space for training and growth. The three collaborative sessions not only seek to provide knowledge but also to empower participants to understand the importance of economic freedom and how it influences their decisions and future projects.

Through this learning, members gain a solid understanding of how the economy works, the proper management of their personal finances, and the necessary steps to start a successful venture. This training not only prepares them to face the challenges of today's world but also inspires them to be leaders in their communities.
