Tenth class of members: 32 more citizens committed to the Republic!

With great excitement, we celebrate the graduation of the tenth class of members of the National Civic Movement (MCN). These are 32 new citizens who successfully completed a comprehensive training process, with the aim of strengthening their commitment to a better Guatemala.

For five sessions, the members received training on fundamental topics to strengthen their commitment to the country. The program included sessions on the history of the MCN, Republicanism, the Guatemalan political system, liberal economy, and above all, the importance of citizen participation.

The MCN Member Program is structured around two main pillars: training and action.

The training pillar includes:

  • • Leadership School, where in-person workshops and virtual sessions are held on critical thinking, civic skills, and teamwork to strengthen leadership among young people.

  • Civic Chronicles, a space where members explore national reality through analysis and the narration of real stories of activism.

  • • International Conferences, which bring together national and international experts to share successful experiences and foster the exchange of innovative ideas for citizen advocacy.

On the other hand, the action pillar allows members to put their skills into action, with initiatives such as:

  • Civic days, volunteering days in different parts of the country, often carried out together with other civil society organizations.

  • Citizen Dialogues, spaces to discuss the main challenges of the country and generate proposals addressed to the authorities.

  • • And civic activism campaigns, in which the defense of our Republic is promoted from the streets and social media.

With this cohort, the Member Program has reached more than 325 citizens committed to the same ideal: defending the Republic with active, critical, and constructive participation.

From the National Civic Movement, we reaffirm our conviction that true changes are born with informed citizens determined to act. The tenth cohort is another step on that path.

If you want to be part of the next generation of members who raise their voices, defend the Republic and promote change from citizenship, join here! It's time to train, act, and build the country we deserve

The Republic is defended by committed citizens.
