Guatemalans need a credible political system where institutions guarantee a true Republic. For this, a legitimate citizen platform is important that can channel the desire for change expressed by young people. At the same time, a constructive narrative is needed towards the causes of freedom, entrepreneurship, limits to public power, and the Rule of Law.
How do we actively construct the new narrative of a credible and desired political system that creates spaces to ensure the effectiveness of the institutions of a true Republic in Guatemala?
By promoting strategic messages that contribute to a credible political system, denouncing abuses of the Republic's institutions, and bringing together different actors who share common goals, especially young leaders.
Objective of Citizen Dialogues
To proactively influence the change that citizens expect for the country by building bridges and productive alliances.
The Citizen Dialogues project seeks to lead the discussion on common challenges by building a citizen proposal and solution.
How?
By promoting a series of public dialogues where the main challenges faced by Guatemalan citizens are discussed. These dialogues will be led by young people and open to citizens to address issues such as entrepreneurship, employment and human capital, infrastructure, security, justice, family economy, state reforms, and many others.
The proposals will be consolidated with the information gathered in the dialogues and will be presented in report format to participants, stakeholders, the general public, and competent authorities. Following the presentation of this report, the proposals will be followed up in conjunction with the competent authorities, and spaces will be opened for citizens to transparently and directly influence the implementation of these changes.
The entire process will be communicated through a constant campaign on social media and media outlets.
What do we do with this information?
1. Consolidate the information gathered in the dialogues into a report format to be presented to participants, stakeholders, and the general public.

This document must be completed and socialized no later than Friday of the week following the activity.
2. Following the presentation of this report, a more thorough executive document will be prepared proposing concrete actions to be submitted to the competent authorities.

Prepare the report and its presentation preferably no later than one month after the activity took place.
3. The proposals will be followed up with the competent authorities, and spaces will be opened for citizens to transparently and directly influence the implementation of these changes.
